I bought two: one to sense when my diode laser is armed in order to energize a status light two to receive input from my black box controller to energize a warning light when my laser is firing. When power is supplied to the relay, currents start flowing through the control coil. You have two outlets that are normally off, but get switched on when triggered, and one outlet that’s normally on but switches off when triggered. Armature The movable magnetic strip is known as armature. Connect the Drain legs to the Green, Red, and Blue connectors on the LED strip. This relay power strip from DLI is a great alternative to electrocution. Allowed me to start and stop the router with the job without rewriting anything. Connect the Source legs to the ground rail. This was simple to connect and begin using. I have since tried to use the relay with other controllers and was not successful in finding an appropriate pin to use (I am not an electrician so this fault falls on me.) I use it as a main switch for my setup even though Openbuilds recommends only using it to control power to the router. If you want to control many LEDs, you’ll need to use an external power source. It was just plug and play when used with the Blackbox controller.
